Courses

We arrange PhD courses and seminars in sustainable management and utilization of forests. Our courses fall into one of the five main themes:

Forest ecosystem processes and ecophysiology
Global environmental and policy issues
Target oriented silviculture
International forest management
Human dimensions and gender aspects in forest management.

The students select courses that best support their project and individual goals. Representatives from forest industries and public authorities are welcome to participate in our courses.
